EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The injury news about the New York Giants‘ broad receiver corps just kept finding even worse Monday evening.
Brandon Marshall sustained an ankle injury Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, and he will undertake period-ending operation.
Receivers Odell Beckham Jr. (broken ankle) and Dwayne Harris (broken foot) had been also missing for the calendar year to injuries that occurred Sunday.
“Tomorrow I’ll have operation ending calendar year 12,” Marshall posted on his Instagram account. “I’m stuffed with mixed thoughts. I was not ready to produce for my staff the way I wished to but this was my greatest calendar year to day. This game has revealed me who I actually am good and lousy. This game has provided me the option to develop as a person, father, husband, teammate, leader. … I’m so thankful for this game.”
Marshall, 33, experienced eighteen catches for 154 yards and no touchdowns this calendar year.
